Entrepreneurship

Welcome to the Entrepreneurship Group at the Department of Business Studies, Uppsala University. The group was formally established in 2005 around The Anders Wall Chair in Entrepreneurship, financed and supported by Kjell och Märta Beijers Stiftelse, Anders Walls Stiftelser, Sparbanksstiftelsen Upland, Svensk Handel (Stiftelsen NÖDFOR), and Uppsala University.

In the expanding and constantly evolving domain of entrepreneurship research our current research programs include corporate entrepreneurship and the survival of new ventures inside established organisations, entrepreneurship on the art arena, intrapreneurial processes in multinational corporations, and opportunity recognition as a team-based process.

Our entrepreneurship courses are offered at the Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. levels, ranging from business oriented courses intended to inspire students to become engaged in new business ventures to courses that cover the main areas of research in the rapidly growing domain of entrepreneurship research.
